Shepherds & USA Pastorate
Irv and Jan Cobb were born and raised in New York State, and met at Baptist Bible College of Pennsylvania. They were married in 1975 and honeymooned by pulling a U-Haul with all their earthly possessions across country to Union Grove, Wisconsin, where Irv worked with Shepherds for 19 years. In 1994, Faith Baptist Church of Omaha, Nebraska extended a call to Irv to be their pastor, where he served for over 25 years until his retirement.
Jan worked at Shepherds, as a cake decorator in bakeries, and most recently as a paraprofessional at Sherman Elementary School in Omaha. Irv and Jan have two daughters. Erin is a pastor’s wife in Walnut, Iowa, and Laura is a military wife presently stationed in San Antonio, Texas.
