Missionary Acres would be nothing without its residents. Although we do not currently have any homes ready for residency, we are actively working on multiple projects, and we do maintain a waiting list of potential residents.
Who Can Live at Missionary Acres?
The following guidelines for residency have been set and approved by the General Council of Baptist Mid-Missions, and final approval for residency comes from the Administrative Committee of Baptist Mid-Missions after all conditions have been met.
- Members of the Baptist Mid-Missions family term of service required: 15 years for all missionaries, home office personnel and staff, and General Council members
- Members of Baptist mission boards of like faith and practice term of service required: 15 years subject to an application process and approval
- Pastors who have served in Baptist churches of like faith and practice term of service required: 20 years in an independent Baptist church subject to an application process and approval
- Professors and staff of Baptist colleges and universities of like faith and practice term of service required: 20 years subject to an application process and approval.
All applicants and residents of Missionary Acres must be in agreement with the doctrinal statement of faith of Baptist Mid-Missions and will be asked to do so in writing as a condition of residency.
